It is our mission to provide engineering solutions for our partner's needs in a professional, economical, innovative and qualitative manner that surpasses expectations.

Carolina Conveying are specialists in powder handling components and material handling systems. Formed in 1999 we manufacture a very comprehensive range of products including Rotary Airlock Valves, Diverter Valves, Gate Valves, Silo Dischargers, Screw Feeders, Bulk Bag Handling Systems and Portable Bulk Containers. Products are always designed to your particular application and specification requirements. The company philosophy is to supply customers with products which conform to the highest quality standards and are fit for their intended purposes.

CCI Facilities

Carolina Conveying manufactures rotary airlocks and rotary valves for all types of industries. We offer five types: the Heavy Duty Drop Thru Rotary Airlock Valve, the Side Entry Rotary Airlock Valve, the Blow Thru Rotary Airlock Valve, the Standard Duty Rotary Airlock and the Easy Clean Rotary Airlock Valve. Rotary airlock valves are used to feed product from or into a pressure or vacuum system. The rotary valve maintains an airlock by the closely, machined tolerances between the internal rotor and rotary airlock body.

Diverter Valves

Carolina Conveying offers a wide variety of diverter valves to choose from, including Scale/Weigh Diverter valves, Gravity Diverter valves, Plug Diverter valves, and Conveying Diverter valves. We also offer Pneumatic Knife Gate valves, and Fabricated Slide Gate valves.

Bin Activators & Bin Dischargers

Common discharge problems in dry material storage are rat-holing, bridging, degradation, and segregation. The bin activator overcomes this by transmitting vibration to the material and creating mass flow. Consisting of a spun metal dish and internal baffle cone, the bin activator is hung below the silo or hopper by a support ring and hanger arms. Vibration is created by one or more vibrator motors, and is likewise isolated from surrounding equipment by hanger arm isolation mounts and rubber sleeves at the inlet and outlet. Discharge rates are controlled by the annular gap between the internal baffle cone and side walls of the spun metal dish.

Material Handling Systems

Carolina Conveying provides Bulk Bag Handling options, including Bulk Bag filling and emptying stations. We also offer Bag Dump Stations which are used to empty small sacks of material in a safe and dust free manner.

Conveyors & Feeders

Carolina Conveying offers both volumetric and gravimetric style Screw Feeders.

Flexible Screw Conveyors are used to economically transport product over various distances, angles and rates. The conveyors are flexible, allowing a multitude of configurations to suit application requirements. Carolina Conveying presently manufactures three sizes: 2, 3 and 4.5 inches with rates of up to 450 cfh depending on the application.

"I have worked with Carolina Conveying for almost 20 years. They have been my preference for Rotary Valves, pneumatic diverter valves and bulk bag systems. The equipment has always performed well. We have used them in various applications such as Lime, Trona, Sand, Carbon and various other products with great success. They people are very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend their equipment to anyone."

"SPG has been very successful in working with CCI on airlock applications, bin dischargers, and bulk bag unloading stations. We have one customer who manufacturers PP fiber and all airlocks & bulk bag unloading stations have been provided by CCI. The off-set airlocks work tremendously well in working as an airlock/feeder of pellets & regrind flake into the transfer system or being utilized as a metering device for the product in a continuous vacuum application. The drop thru airlocks we have sourced through CCI have been very useful in applications involving different aggregate products as well as powder materials such as PVC Compound Powder."

"My history with Carolina Conveying dates back to Feb of 2001. Since that time I’ve had the pleasure of working with Paul Golden and his group on projects involving his material handling equipment. What stands out for me is:

Carolina Conveying has a fiduciary obligation to do what is in the best interest of the client
They often will quote what the customers requested and then also quote what they feel is best for the application
They will only accept an order when they have full application details
Carolina has no problem saying no to an application when they feel it’s not a good fit for their products
Heavy duty products at competitive price and a responsive team make a formula for success!"
